Radio can be distributed in many ways i.e.
- internet (webcasting) where you are able to stream a radio broadcast over the internet to a device i.e. Laptop / mobile phone
- DAB radio- DAB radios are fitted in most cars nowadays and making it possible to reach a captive audience whist on a commute.
- Mobile apps, radio can now be distributed using mobile devices and mobile apps, this is an example of technical convergance.
These are all examples of digital convergance, whcih has changed the way in which radio is recived and distributed to the user.
